Guava
Guava is a tropical and subtropical fruit known for its sweet aroma, refreshing taste, and high nutritional value, including vitamin C, dietary fiber, and antioxidants. It is grown from the Psidium guajava tree, which is hardy and adaptable to a variety of soils, though it grows best in well-drained loamy or sandy loam soils with a slightly acidic to neutral pH (5.5–7.0). Guava thrives in warm climates with temperatures ranging from 23°C to 28°C and can tolerate moderate drought, although regular irrigation during flowering and fruiting enhances fruit quality and yield. The plant requires full sunlight for optimal growth and proper pruning to maintain canopy shape and fruit production. Guava is relatively resistant to pests and diseases, making it a versatile and profitable fruit crop in tropical and subtropical regions.
